FAQ

Objections, sustained.

Is this actually going to start fights?

Weirdly, no - most households say it defuses them. Turning “you always-” into a scored, disputable entry takes the heat out and puts in a process.

What happens if a dispute expires?

If nobody votes within 48 hours, it expires automatically - no verdict, no points move.

Can more than two people use one household?

PettyPoints is built around two-player households (partners, roommates-as-a-pair, co-parents). Everyone in that pair sees the same scoreboard.

How does the jury work?

Either player can send a disputed charge to up to three friends, who vote anonymously from any browser - no app needed. Majority rules. No appeals.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything syncs over iCloud, directly between your household’s two players. We don’t see it, sell it, or store it ourselves. See Privacy.

Can I make my own rules?

Absolutely - template packs are a starting point, not a limit. Add, edit, or delete rules any time.

What devices does it support?

iPhone, with iCloud sync and Siri Shortcuts support built in.
