1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PettyPoints ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. The App is developed by aaic. ("we", "us").
2. Description of Service
PettyPoints is a competitive accountability app for two-player households. It is intended for entertainment and playful accountability, not dispute resolution or relationship counselling.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App.
4. Accounts
The App uses your Apple ID via iCloud. No separate account is required. You are responsible for all activity within your household.
5. Purchases
The App offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, one-time purchases are required:
- Game Pass ($9.99) - all core features for purchaser and partner. Rule packs $1.99 each.
- Founders Pack ($29.99) - all core features, the exclusive AI Roast, plus all current and future rule packs.
Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store. The partner receives free access while sharing the household.
6. Refunds
Refund requests must be directed to Apple. User data is preserved regardless of refund status.
7. Free Trial
7 calendar days of full access. No credit card required. One trial per Apple ID. Cannot be reset by reinstalling.
8. User Content
You are responsible for rule names, notes, dispute reasons, and nicknames you create. Do not create unlawful, threatening, or harassing content.
9. AI Content
The AI Roast feature generates automated comedic content. It is not reviewed by a human and may include irreverent language.
10. Jury Voting
By sharing a jury link, you consent to dispute details being visible to anyone who accesses the link. Votes are anonymous.

12. Data Preservation
Your data is never deleted by aaic. due to trial expiration or purchase status. Request deletion at support@aaic.io.
13. Availability
The App depends on Apple's CloudKit. aaic. does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The AI Roast depends on third-party services.
14. Intellectual Property
The App and Rule Template Packs are property of aaic.. Purchasing grants a non-transferable licence to use within the App.
15. Founders Pack - Future Content
Includes all future rule packs at no additional cost for as long as the App is maintained. No refund is owed for unreleased content if the App is discontinued.
16. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
17. Limitation of Liability
aaic. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
18. Changes
aaic. may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
